Early Life and Struggles
Waheed Arian
Born in 1983 in Kabul, Afghanistan, Waheed Arian's early life was marked by the violence and instability of the Soviet-Afghan War. His family was forced to flee to Pakistan, where they lived in a refugee camp under dire conditions. Life in the camp was harsh, with limited access to basic necessities like clean water, food, and medical care. It was during this time that Arian contracted tuberculosis, an experience that ignited his passion for medicine.
The Path to Education
At the age of fifteen, Arian was smuggled to the United Kingdom, where he arrived with just $100 and a dream to pursue his education. Despite the language barrier and the overwhelming challenges of adapting to a new culture, Arian’s determination was unwavering. He worked menial jobs to support himself while studying tirelessly. His hard work paid off when he was accepted into prestigious institutions like the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and later, Harvard Medical School.

Through Arian Teleheal, doctors in conflict zones can receive real-time
